Job Summary:

Marbella Visalia is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional support for individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, patient, and able to build trusting relationships with clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene maintenance.
- Assist with mobility and transportation, helping clients move around safely and comfortably.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with dietary needs, ensuring they receive proper nutrition.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients’ health, reporting any changes to the medical team or family members.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities, including conversation, games, exercise, and hobbies, to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment, including household tasks such as laundry and light housekeeping.
- Document and maintain accurate records of care provided and progress notes.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Respect client confidentiality and uphold the dignity of each individual.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in caregiving or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience as a caregiver, personal support worker, or in a role with similar responsibilities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
- Basic knowledge of common medical conditions and necessary care practices.
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and perform necessary tasks.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required, depending on the job location.
