This role is responsible for answering incoming calls, identifying the caller's needs, and efficiently transferring them to the appropriate department or representative. Call Transfer Agents may also handle basic inquiries, verify caller information, and follow company protocols to enhance customer satisfaction. • Operate a multi-line telephone system to answer, screen, and route calls within the company.
• Provide general information on basic inquiries such as payment methods, office hours, or account access procedures.
• Transfer customers to appropriate collectors or account representatives based on the nature of the call.
• Accurately enter and update databases with customer contact information.
• Log call interactions and transfer activity within internal systems.
• Transmit customer details, notes, or documents to team members as needed to assist.
• Work closely with the team to support smooth handoffs and follow-through.
