Project Manager – Infrastructure Projects

Location: Pomona, CA – Onsite

Duration: 15 Months (with possible extension)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in infrastructure projects within the energy/utility sector . The role involves overseeing infrastructure replacement programs, managing interconnection agreements, and ensuring alignment with regulatory and contractual obligations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end infrastructure replacement projects , from planning to execution.
• Define project scope, cost responsibilities, and ensure alignment with engineering and estimating teams.
• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders and large-scale clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Participate in technical discussions to assess feasibility and resolve challenges.
• Lead customer negotiations on project scope and requirements.
• Interpret and manage interconnection agreements under CAISO, WDAT, and Rule 21 .
• Ensure compliance with contract terms governed by FERC and CPUC .
• Collaborate with contract teams to clarify scope and cost allocations.
• Drive project execution, monitor milestones, and escalate risks as needed.
• Conduct stakeholder meetings and coordinate with technical PM teams to maintain project readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related technical discipline .
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, program management, or contract management.
• Proven experience working on infrastructure or utility-related projects .
• Strong knowledge of utility contracts, interconnection agreements, and regulatory compliance (CAISO, WDAT, Rule 21, FERC, CPUC).
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills .
