Role Overview

We are seeking a Mid-Senior Mortgage Warehouse Portfolio Manager or Banker with 7+ years of experience in warehouse lending, mortgage banking, or related capital markets roles. The ideal candidate will bring a deep credit background, experience structuring and managing warehouse facilities, and strong familiarity with both traditional mortgage products and alternative credit assets such as RTLs, Business Purpose Loans, and Multifamily lending. This role will requiring strong analytical and portfolio management skills while also client-facing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead risk monitoring across pipelines, portfolio concentrations, and facility performance, leveraging both traditional and data-driven tools.
  • Support and manage warehouse lending relationships, ensuring efficient funding operations and credit oversight.
  • Structure, negotiate, and manage warehouse credit facilities for mortgage originators and specialized lenders.
  • Perform detailed credit and collateral reviews, with exposure to RTLs, Business Purpose Loans, and Multifamily loans.
  • Collaborate with credit, risk, and treasury teams on underwriting, capital allocation, and portfolio optimization.
  • Drive process improvements and technology initiatives that enhance transparency and efficiency.
  • Mentor and support junior team members.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in warehouse lending, mortgage banking, structured finance, or related fields.
  • Strong credit background with demonstrated experience in credit analysis, underwriting, and facility structuring.
  • Familiarity with RTLs, Business Purpose Loans, and Multifamily lending required.
  • Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel; SQL, Tableau, or BI tools a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the mortgage loan lifecycle, warehouse funding mechanics, and secondary market execution.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to balance client service with credit discipline.
