Job Description

Position Overview:

The Sales Support Specialist serves as the first point of contact for prospective new pool buyers. This role focuses on building trust, educating leads, and scheduling appointments with the sales team. Acting as the bridge between marketing and sales, this position ensure that every inquiry is handled promptly, professionally, and with empathy – setting the tone for a positive customer journey for 1 st point on interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

· Respond to inbound leads via phone, email, text, live chat on website and web forms.

· Qualify and document lead details in HubSpot (CRM).

· Educate prospects by sharing learning center resources, byer guides, and FAQs.

· Schedule and confirm 1 st appointments with the appropriate sales representative by following the zone map (will be shared with you).

· Maintain accurate lead notes, history, and next steps for sales handoff.

· Track and manage follow-up sequences to reduce no-show and improve conversion.

· Serve as the “voice of Shasta Pools” by building trust and empathy with every lead.

· Provide feedback to marketing director and sales director about lead quality and common customer questions.

· Manage sales team calendars – this also includes Calendly (online scheduling software).

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong interpersonal and communications skills

· Comfortable using CRM (HubSpot) and other lead management tools.

· Organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple leads.

· Empathetic listener, who can calm concerns and guide prospects to a strong solution.

· Team player with a service-first mindset.

KPI (Key Performance Indicators)

· Speed-to-lead response time.

· Appointment scheduled-to-leads ratio

· No-show reduction rate.

· Quality of lead notes passed to sales team.

· Customer satisfaction/feedback at first interaction.

Compensation: $18.00/hr - $19.50/hr base pay.

Plus Commission: $2.30/ 1st appointment booked and attended for New Pool sales

Monday to Friday, located at 3750 W. Indian School Rd.

Shift Options: 10:00am - 7:00pm or 8:00am - 5:00pm
