Roofing Installer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Roofing Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of roofing systems for commercial and industrial buildings. This position requires a strong understanding of roofing materials and techniques, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently on rooftops.
Key Responsibilities - Install roofing systems on commercial and industrial buildings according to specifications and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections of roofs to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs or replacements.
- Apply waterproofing materials to roofs to prevent leaks and water damage.
- Install low slope roofing systems and sheet metal roofing as required.
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of roofing projects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and any issues.
Qualifications - Proven experience as a Roofing Installer or similar position in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of various roofing materials and installation techniques, specifically for commercial and industrial applications.
- Familiarity with government regulations and industry standards related to roofing and construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks at heights and in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
