Starting at $45 per hour (travel rates available)
40 Hours/week | Starting ASAP for a 3-month duration
Three PACE centers in and near Lynchburg, VA
Travel offered, pending location | LTC and geriatric experience preferred
Weekdays only

Lynchburg, Virginia, offers a vibrant downtown with charming shops and historic sites, plus easy access to outdoor adventures in nearby parks and lakes. The city’s lively arts scene and friendly community make it a fun place to work and explore! This role involves travel to three sites with the main site in Lynchburg and two additional sites in Amherst and Bedford. 

Key Duties

• Assess and document the nutritional needs of each participant in accordance with agency policies and procedures
• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates the nutritional component of the <> program; determines the nature and extent of nutritional needs and problems of the target population.
• Maintains standards for the following agencies: facility, Federal, State Department of Health, County Department of Health and any other applicable regulatory agency standards
• Consult with individuals and families and assist in developing healthy eating goals and provide ongoing nutrition education and resources
• Position may require travel within the center’s geographic region
• Ability to perform work independently with minimal training
• Demonstrates accountability for the proper use of patients’ protected health information

Required Licenses/Certifications

• Current Registered Dietitian credentialed by CDR
• Valid driver’s license
