Job Description

Davco Electrical Contractors Corp is seeking a knowledgeable and driven Project Manager to lead commercial electrical projects from contract execution to final billing. This role is ideal for someone with experience in municipal permitting, vendor coordination, and on-site construction oversight, who values compliance, communication, and efficient project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee full project lifecycle from contract to closeout, ensuring alignment with estimates and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Initiate job setup and manage all documentation within ComputerEase and project systems.
• Coordinate with engineers for lighting designs, photometric layouts, panel schedules, and risers.
• Manage permit submittals, track responses, and facilitate inspections.
• Lead material procurement and coordinate vendor deliveries, offloading, and storage.
• Work directly with superintendents and foremen to ensure timely execution of work per engineered drawings.
• Schedule and track utility locates, preconstruction site walks, and all inspection requirements.
• Ensure accurate, timely billing and closeout documentation for subcontractors and clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in electrical project management is required.
• Working knowledge of permitting, inspection processes, and utility coordination.
• Familiarity with project documentation systems such as ComputerEase, McCormick, or Procore.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and field collaboration experience.
• Excellent communication skills to work effectively with engineers, clients, vendors, and field teams.
• Experience working with municipalities or school districts on construction projects is preferred.
