Client:

A rapidly growing digital infrastructure developer is seeking a Project Development Manager to support its land strategy and expansion efforts.

The position calls for an individual who thrives amid rapid growth, translating complex challenges into structured, actionable plans. Strong analytical acumen, clear communication, and disciplined organization are essential, along with the flexibility to work both autonomously and in close coordination with other functional groups.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the process of identifying and evaluating potential development sites, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and milestones are met from initial screening through final approval.
  • Identify and qualify new land opportunities that support the company’s strategic and technical objectives.
  • Perform comprehensive due diligence on prospective locations, considering factors such as zoning, permitting, utilities, transportation access, and local regulations.
  • Analyze data and financial models to assess project feasibility, infrastructure readiness, risk exposure, and overall return potential.
  • Monitor regional real estate activity and economic conditions to inform site selection priorities and long-term growth planning.
  • Evaluate potential sites against internal performance metrics and external benchmarks related to sustainability, efficiency, and development standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technical, financial, and operational requirements during due diligence.
  • Regularly brief senior leadership on active pipeline status, project milestones, and key strategic insights.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in real estate development, project management, site selection, or related fields.
  • Data center experience, strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline such as Business, Finance, Environmental Studies, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related area.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical abilities, with experience synthesizing complex data into actionable insights.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities in parallel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings to leadership.
  • Working knowledge of project management processes and development workflows.
  • Comfortable working collaboratively across multiple departments and disciplines.
