Primary Care Physician – Redlands, CA

Optum California is hiring a full-time Primary Care Physician to join our outpatient clinic in Redlands. We’re a clinician-led organization focused on improving care delivery and supporting our providers.

Located in the heart of the Inland Empire, Redlands offers a unique blend of small-town charm and modern amenities. With its historic downtown, excellent schools, and proximity to both the San Bernardino Mountains and Joshua Tree National Park, Redlands is ideal for families and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

Required Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic (D.O.)
• Completion of an accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or Board Eligible for medical residents
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current California DEA certificate or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
• EMR Proficient

Position Highlights & Primary Responsibilities:

• Monday – Friday / 8am – 5pm (no call, no weekends)
• Manage patient care in an outpatient setting
• Conduct consultations, follow-up appointments, well-checks, and schedule screenings
• Comfortable seeing patients of all ages, primarily adults/seniors
• Average Daily Patient Census: 18-20 patients
• Appointment schedule: 40 min new patient, 20 min follow-up patient visits
• Dedicated support staff of nurses and medical assistants
