Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct clinical care to employees, assessing and treating both work-related and non-work-related illnesses and injuries.
  • Lead, mentor, and support a team of physician assistants and nurse practitioners, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Streamline and improve Occupational Health programs, focusing on service excellence and outcome improvement in a low-stress setting.
  • Conduct fit-for-duty, medical surveillance, and pre-placement evaluations.
  • Deliver urgent care and stabilize patients requiring higher levels of treatment.
  • Collaborate closely with client organizations to address Occupational Health concerns and initiatives.
  • Guide and coach healthcare providers to ensure high standards of care and continual professional development.
  • Oversee case management and administrative strategy for the clinic, including supportive program development and policy leadership.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Active, unrestricted medical license in Illinois and Iowa (Wisconsin a plus).
  • Board Certification in Occupational Medicine, Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or other applicable specialty.
  • Demonstrated experience in Occupational Health, Workers’ Compensation, or relevant clinical settings.
  • Outstanding clinical acumen and commitment to service excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Strong leadership, mentorship, and team development abilities.
  • Proficiency in case management and administrative functions within clinic settings.
  • Ability to thrive and collaborate in client-focused healthcare environments.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Unrestricted medical license in Wisconsin.
  • Background in developing and implementing Occupational Health protocols and programs.
  • Experience working within large corporate, hospital, or global healthcare environments.
  • Passion for quality improvement and process optimization, especially for employee health and safety programs.
  • Track record of success in mentorship, coaching, and supporting PAs/NPs or multidisciplinary teams.
  • Familiarity with population health management and Quadruple Aim initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
