Qualifications:

1. Graduate of an accredited PA/NP education program

2. Physician Assistant—Certified (PA-C) OR Nurse Practitioner License

Position Summary:

Join a busy cardiology/electrophysiology practice with a dynamic collaborative care team. Under the supervision of a physician the PA will provide care to a wide variety of cardiac patients. The position will offer an opportunity to work to full scope of practice within the specialty area. Responsibilities/Duties:

• Provide direct clinical care to patients and consult and refer to other health care professionals as indicated.
• Recommend and explain appropriate diagnostic test and treatment.
• Instruct and educate patients and family members as needed.
• Fully document all aspects of patient care and assist with the completion of all required documentation.
• Assist in clinical instruction and supervision of medical and allied health students.
• Encourage and ensure good working relationships with all members of team.

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)

Work Location: In person 5 days a week, Monday-Friday (No Call) in La Quinta, California
