Baer is looking for an OnBase Developer & SAP Integration Consultant for a Government Project.

Title: OnBase Developer & SAP Integration Consultant

Location: Remote with travel to Harrisburg, PA one week per month

Duration: September 2025 – December 2026

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Alignment: W2 Only

Project Overview:

Our client is leading a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation for a state-level transportation authority responsible for managing and modernizing toll-based roadway infrastructure and enterprise systems. This project includes the migration of ECC, SRM, and BW systems to S/4HANA.

Position Description:

The OnBase Developer will serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME), responsible for the implementation, configuration, administration, and ongoing support of the OnBase platform, with a specialized focus on integrating OnBase with SAP systems. This role requires hands-on experience with OnBase installation, upgrade, and maintenance, as well as a deep understanding of its architecture, key modules (Workflow, Document Imaging), and integration best practices for SAP environments.

Responsibilities / Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of OnBase experience with 2 to 3 years of OnBase and SAP Integration experience.
• Install, configure, and manage OnBase environments, including server and client components.
• Design and implement OnBase solutions leveraging Workflow and Document Imaging modules.
• Configure and manage OnBase SAP Connector and ArchiveLink for integration with SAP S/4HANA.
• Develop automated workflows integrating OnBase with SAP S/4HANA business processes (e.g., invoice processing, HR records).
• Enable seamless document archiving and retrieval from SAP Fiori apps using OnBase.
• Perform OnBase administration, including user management, security roles, and system monitoring.
• Troubleshoot and resolve OnBase and SAP S/4HANA integration issues, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Collaborate with SAP Basis and functional teams to enable secure, reliable data exchange between OnBase and SAP S/4HANA / Fiori.
• Document technical specifications and configurations for OnBase-SAP S/4HANA / Fiori integration projects.
• Optimize system performance by applying best practices for OnBase architecture and SAP S/4HANA / Fiori connectivity.
