Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring an Occupational Health Nurse in Cambridge, Ohio! This role is in person / on site. Please read below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.
Type: Six-month contract, opportunity for extension or fulltime offer
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm - with on call as needed
Pay: $29.00 to $33.00 an hour
Responsibilities of the Occupational Health Nurse
Incident Medical Treatment –
· Aid first responders to ensure patient care and transportation (ambulatory)
· Work with Workers Comp and/or Emergency Room, determine when employee can return to work
· Obtain and provide Workers Comp to employee and HR teams
· Work with injured employee to coordinate follow up appointments
Employee Physicals Management –
· Respiratory Fit testing and manage physicals
· Perform vision screening for forklift operators
· Manage hearing tests
· Maintain and update employee medical files in database
· Managing drug screening for injuries and new hires
· Overseeing flu vaccines
Employee Wellness –
· Coordinate annual health fair
· Employee health campaigns (emails, monthly themes, activities)
· Maintain clinic operation with supplies, housekeeping, bloodborne pathogens waste management
Additional –
· Be familiar with occupational medical stands
· Work with job accommodation requests through HR
· Manage call off hotline (medical)
Qualifications for the Occupational Health Nurse:
· High School Diploma or GED
· 2+ years of related experience (Occ Health, ER, Urgent Care)
· LPN or RN license in OH, active and in good standing
· Proficient software computer skills
