Job Description

The Logistics Coordinator manages the end-to-end movement of materials and equipment for complex industrial projects. This role ensures every shipment—from oversized cargo to international freight—meets cost, schedule, and compliance goals. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, including oversized and project cargo.
• Verify project scope, carrier requirements, and documentation accuracy.
• Arrange transport sequences, load-outs, and carrier tenders within TMS systems.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents (BOL, PL, CI) and upload to shared drives.
• Manage purchase orders, verify carrier invoices, and resolve discrepancies.
• Support ship-loose gathering, packing, and inspection of incoming materials.
• Communicate with project managers, suppliers, and carriers to ensure on-time delivery.
• Conduct logistics tracking and maintain compliance with USDOT and international regulations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in domestic and international freight logistics.
• Strong understanding of USDOT regulations and oversized load permitting.
• Proficient with TMS, MRP, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, load planning, and freight documentation.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50% as needed for project support.
