HR Coordinator

Location: Allegheny County, PA (100% on-site)

Salary Range: $55,000–$70,000

Overview

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking a motivated and adaptable HR Coordinator to support a wide range of human resources functions. This role is ideal for someone early in their HR career who is eager to learn, grow, and take on both foundational and advanced HR responsibilities. You will work closely with an experienced HR leader and gain exposure to all aspects of human resources within a collaborative, close-knit workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer 401(k) plans and manage a frozen pension plan
• Lead hiring efforts for hourly positions and gradually support higher-level recruitment
• Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to onboarding
• Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries related to benefits, FMLA, handbook policies, and union-related questions
• Balance multiple tasks with shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Coordinate company events, including holiday parties and employee milestone celebrations
• Support weekly HR processes while maintaining flexibility for unexpected needs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
• Recently earned degree; master’s degree preferred
• Academic coursework or focus in employment law or labor relations is a plus
• Demonstrated progression and commitment throughout academic or early professional experience
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities
• Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm onsite
