Job Description

Director of Recruiting

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Recruiting to lead and oversee three key departments within our Recruiting division: Internal Recruiting, Direct Hire/Temp to Hire, and Professional Staffing . This leadership role is critical in shaping the direction of our talent acquisition strategy, driving performance across multiple teams, and ensuring alignment with the company’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Strategy
  • Develop and implement a unified recruiting strategy across all three departments.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage department heads and team members to meet performance goals.
  • Align recruiting operations with broader company objectives and workforce planning needs.
  • Department Oversight
  • Internal Recruiting : Drive internal talent acquisition to support company growth and internal mobility.
  • Direct Hire/Temp to Hire : Oversee placement services that match top talent with client needs, focusing on long-term placements and contract-to-permanent conversions.
  • Professional Staffing : Manage professional and executive-level recruitment services across various industries.
  • Performance & Optimization
  • Analyze KPIs across departments to measure success, identify areas for improvement, and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Streamline processes and leverage technology to maximize sourcing effectiveness and candidate experience.
  • Collaboration & Client Engagement
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand staffing needs and ensure service delivery excellence.
  • Represent the Recruiting department in leadership meetings, contributing insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading multi-functional recruiting teams or divisions.
  • Deep understanding of staffing and recruiting best practices across internal, temp-to-perm, and professional/executive search.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations.
  • Experience working in a high-growth or agency/staffing environment is a plus.
