Job Description

Accent Landscape Contractors is seeking a Construction Estimator to join our growing team in

Albuquerque. The Estimator will perform quantity take-offs, interpret construction drawings,

and prepare detailed and competitive landscape and sitework bids. This is an on-site position

and an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow with a successful and reputable

contractor.

Accent Landscape is a leading commercial landscape construction company based in

Albuquerque, New Mexico. We specialize in public works projects and self-perform a variety

of scopes including grading, drainage, irrigation, hardscape, and site furnishings.

In 2023, we were recognized as one of the Top 150 Largest Landscape Companies in the

Nation, completing between $25–30 million in annual sales. Our projects include parks,

schools, and streetscapes throughout New Mexico. We operate as both a general contractor

and subcontractor, depending on project scope.

Position Overview

• Perform accurate and detailed quantity take-offs from construction drawings (including grading, drainage, irrigation, utility, and site plans)
• Review and interpret construction drawings, details, and specifications
• Request and analyze vendor and subcontractor pricing
• Prepare and assemble bid proposals and supporting documentation
• Work closely with project managers and superintendents to confirm scopes of work
• Assist with project handoff, budgeting, and cost tracking when required

Qualifications

• Experience as a construction estimator or landscape estimator (preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, and OnCenter Takeoff is a plus (not required)
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
