Greater Binghamton Health Center (GBHC) is currently recruiting Cleaners.

  • Friday - 10/3 10:00am - 4:00pm
  • Saturday - 10/4 10:00am – 2:00pm

Cleaners at GBHC perform a wide range of cleaning tasks that are essential for infection prevention to ensure a safe, healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Our Cleaners help support hope and recovery for adults with serious mental illness and children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances.

Cleaners at GBHC:

  • Collect and empty trash and recycling.
  • Wash floors, corridors, stairwells, walls, partitions, and windows.
  • Vacuum, strip and wax floors, and shampoo carpets.
  • Scrub and clean showers and restrooms.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and equipment; and notify supervisor of maintenance issues.
  • Move and arrange furniture when needed.
  • Pick up and remove hazardous articles.
